It is a traditional autumn event in New York. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene crossed the Atlantic to preside over the annual Princess Grace Foundation USA gala on 3 November. This was an opportunity to see the Princess with a "Grace" diamond around her neck.

The evening was an opportunity to see the Princess with a "Grace" diamond around her neck. The Foundation highlights the talents it encourages in various cultural fields: theatre, dance, animated films.

This year, 18 awards were presented to support young talents and help them finance their training and artistic projects.

For nearly four decades, the Princess Grace Foundation USA (created by Prince Rainier in memory of his wife in 1982) has supported nearly 800 artists in the United States.
The evening, which was held at 583 Park - a chic ballroom in Manhattan - was also the occasion for Princess Charlene to wear for the first time the "La vie en rose" necklace by jewellery designer Lorenz Bäumer, adorned at its centre with the diamond named "Grace".
